Boy, did I ever get stuck for a theme, idea, concept this time around. Sometimes, an entire idea just arrives in your head one morning. and a day later, with some help from photoshop and whatever HTML editor I happen to be using, a site is up. But, sometimes, you rack your brain, over and over, and come up blank. Most previous sites that have been on this domain often happened quickly, ie, in the space of a week or two. But, in this case, it took a couple of months. The name itself came from my wonderful workmate, Caroline. I wanted to do lots of pages in blue. I had a lovely font from the Chank Store that I knew would be great in chrome, thus a "summer" type of an idea, looking a little like a 50s hot rod, which led to eddie cochran and the summertime blues. Ok, a loose conenction, but a connection nonetheless...
They employ me. They also allow me to tuck my mighty, yet humble web server on one of the systems. So, I feel that John, Cathy and the rest of the crew are a pretty special bunch, thus deserving of mucho recognition
Me, Me, Moi and more Me. There's a few things about me in here as well. Nothing about you though.
All of the artwork on the site is generated using Photoshop 3.05, Kai's Power Tools and the Alien Skin Black Box. Music played during this rewrite was Nine Inch Nails (The Perfect Drug), U2's Pop, and, Animal Slaves, "A Fine End". Also, the usual XTC and Bela Fleck was usually heavy in the music rotation. Very little beer was consumed this time, simply because most the work this time out was done on a few Saturday and Sunday mornings. This means COFFEE was the fuel of choice. The Web editor is Homesite 2.5. I update this site when the urge strikes, and, because I have gone off of the "holiday related" schemes, who knows when the next update will be.
And numerous friends who have helped, encouraged, belittled, cajoled, suggested, whined, contributed, made fun of and misinformed me while I beat this site into shape...
For the great scan of Pixel...I'll link his site when he gets it up.
